New Hampshire House passes Tenth Amendment resolution – Tenth Amendment Center Blog

Since 1933 the United States of America has been in a declared "State of Emergency" by each consecutive president, including Clinton, Bush, and Obama. By keeping our nation declared thus, our political 'leaders' are able to BYPASS our Constitution and make whatever laws they so desire. This also includes their ability to declare Martial Law at any time they deem it necessary! If we, as a people, believe we have Constitutional Rights, you had better think again. We only have those rights that our federal government allows us to have right now because they have simply not declared us to be an "enemy"...yet. It may well be due to our Second Amendment that we still have some freedoms since there are millions-plus of Americans who own/have guns...and know how to use them. While I agree with New Hampshire and other states in passing the Tenth Amendment Resolution, the only way this resolution will have any bite is if we finally elect a president in 2012 who will REFUSE to declare another "State of Emergency" but, instead, will declare that from this day forward out Constitution WILL BE UPHELD!
